90 DAY FOLLOW-UP

Q: Can clarity be provided on the blinded 90-day follow-up appointment? A: The clinician completing the 90-day follow-up appointment should not be aware of the treatment allocation. The person completing this assessment must be on the delegation log and given the appropriate training. Hence, there needs to be a minimum of two staff on the trial (they can interchanging roles too). We will be in touch with individual sites in how we can help with completing the 90-day follow-up appointment.

Q: How will you blind the blinded assessor as they also receive the email notification with the treatment arm? A: The randomisation email has been changed to remove the treatment allocation. This change to the email went live yesterday (21 Nov 2019). If you are experiencing any issues, please contact your data manager (Robert Fenner)

Q: Can sites support each other in completing the 90-day follow-up appointments? A: Sites within different trusts cannot support each other in completing the 90-day follow-up appointment. Within the same trust this can be done.

Q: Can 90-day follow-up be done by telephone? A: Yes, you can do the follow-up by telephone.
